The ranking here is a roundup of TikTok commenters who named their favorite Westminster brunch spots, along with some specific comments. Take it as a starting point — a list of where to begin, not where to end.

We had a simple question for our TikTok followers back on April 12: where's the best brunch in Westminster? We posted it and let the comments do the work.

Many comments and likes later, you came through. A handful of names came up more than once, one came up a lot, plenty of others got a single, confident shoutout. All of them are worth knowing about. We also know there’s even more to brunch on in town beyond what’s mentioned here.

A few names came up repeatedly, and one was mentioned over and over: Collision Course was the most-mentioned spot in the thread, with several commenters dropping the name on its own and others adding some detail.

Andre's two-spot answer — "first watch or collision course" — pulled 13 hearts, the most-liked comment in the whole thread. The recurring note from saresnail about "the owners are the sweetest" was a nice touch, a reminder that part of what people love about local spots is the people behind them.

Jeannie Bird came up in a quick back-and-forth between mc_spamz and Maddie — "@Maddie" / "Def Jeannie bird." (Editor’s note: I love the McDanial and the Western Maryland breakfast sandwich that are served on their sweet potato biscuit! Keep in mind, they are not open on Sundays, so plan your weekend brunch visit accordingly.)

Maggie's got a warm shoutout from SantanaMaria: "I tried Maggie's few times definitely was a great brunch place." Long-standing, well-loved, and clearly still on people's minds.

Birdies Cafe earned an enthusiastic "Birdies Cafe!!" from aidan, with four hearts of agreement. One name, two exclamation points, no further explanation needed.

Serra's on Main was Jennifer Jadra Harri's pick, with maybe the most useful framing in the whole thread: "Depends, good reasonable no frills food, Bullocks, want sit down with menu options that people overlook? Serra's on Main."

Rock Salt showed up in Gisi's go-to pair along with Collison Course. Rock Salt is always one of the most packed spots on Main Street most nights for dinner, and now we need to try it on a weekend morning, too.

Cafe Blue got the shortest endorsement of the bunch from a first-time commenter: just the name. Sometimes that's the most confident vote of all.

Molli's has meaghanmejia making the case for them: "Donuts from Molli's." Call it a post-brunch dessert run or a pre-brunch warm-up. Either way, you're not going to argue with donuts. (Editor’s note: my wife says the marshmallow donuts are a must-try!)

First Watch picked up a couple of mentions, including andre's pairing above and a clean one-word endorsement from Rod. The chain pick of the bunch, and a steady favorite for anyone who wants a familiar menu.

A few things stood out while reading through the thread.

Westminster has a real local brunch scene, not just a couple of standout spots and a lot of chains, but a genuine map of small businesses people care about. The comments mentioned owners by personality, recommended specific orders, and went back and forth, tagging friends. We loved reading through the comments.
