Another World VR in Westminster is kicking off summer with a full-evening event on Friday, June 5, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The venue is billing it as the first annual end-of-year celebration, and the lineup covers a lot of ground: unlimited VR access, unlimited arcade, pong and cornhole tournaments with prizes, multiple live bands playing across genres, face painting, and a balloon artist.

The kitchen will be running a full café menu throughout the night. Downtown Westminster restaurant Collision Course will be on hand, offering themed drinks for purchase. "Come hungry," owner Justin Kelly said in an Instagram video announcing the event. "We're gonna have the full café open, full menu, and Collision Course is gonna be offering a cash bar — all kinds of really unique and themed drinks."

Tickets are tiered: Early Bird pricing is $19.99 (limited availability), General Admission is $24.99, and at-the-door tickets are $29.99. The event is all ages. "There'll be a lot of stuff to do," Kelly said. "Hoping to see you guys there — tell friends and family."

Another World VR opened at the TownMall of Westminster in March 2025. Kelly, a Carroll County native, launched the venue with the goal of creating a space for immersive group entertainment, according to the venue's website. The venue draws a mix of families, friend groups, and adults with its combination of free-roam VR gaming, arcade games, and social space.

Another World VR is located at 400 North Center St., Westminster, MD 21157, inside the TownMall of Westminster. For more information, visit westminster.another-world.com or call 410-848-1133.
