The Carroll County Arts Council and the City of Westminster bring Art in the Park back to the grounds of Westminster City Hall on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The annual outdoor festival is free and open to the public.
Held on the first Saturday in June for more than 40 years, the event features fine art and craft displays by accomplished local and regional artists, along with food trucks, live music, and a free craft activity for kids. The festival draws a loyal arts audience each year and runs rain or shine on the open lawn behind City Hall.
The event address is 1838 Emerald Hill Lane, Westminster, MD 21157; for GPS navigation, use 121 Longwell Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157. Free parking is available throughout the surrounding area, including street parking on Locust Street, the East Middle School lot at Key Street, and the parking lot and garage at Distillery Drive.
Headquartered at the Carroll Arts Center at 91 West Main Street in downtown Westminster, the Carroll County Arts Council runs year-round programming including gallery exhibits, performing arts series, youth and adult classes, summer camps, and signature events like Art in the Park, PEEPshow, the Festival of Wreaths, and the Gallery of Gifts. This year's Art in the Park is sponsored by Westminster Recreation and Parks.
