Carroll County Recreation & Parks is hosting the first of its Largemouth Bass Tournament series at Piney Run Park on Friday, June 19, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The evening tournament is open to anglers of all skill levels and offers cash prizes for the top finishers.
Pre-registration is $15 per angler and closes at 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 18. Day-of registration is $20.
Anglers launching private boats will pay a $10 boat launch fee, though the standard vehicle entrance fee is waived for all tournament participants. Rental boats are available for $20 per boat; call 410-795-5165 to reserve one in advance.
The top three anglers take home cash: 1st place: $200, 2nd place: $150, 3rd place: $100. A separate Biggest Fish Trophy will also be awarded.
