The Glyndon Area Players will stage Disney's "Frozen" at Francis Scott Key High School this summer, opening July 31 and running through Aug. 9. The company has scheduled eight performances at the school, at 3825 Bark Hill Road in Union Bridge:

The production is "Frozen: The Broadway Musical," the full stage adaptation of the 2013 Disney film, and the latest summer show from the company, a community theater group founded in 1998 that bills itself as "The Theater Company Built on a Dream." The group's recent summer shows include "Seussical" in 2025, "Anastasia" in 2024, and "The Music Man" in 2023.
Amber Bates stars as Elsa and Alyson Kaiser as Anna, with Scott Molony as Kristoff, Kenny Alam as Hans, Olivia Ward as Olaf, and Josiah Nusbaum as Sven. The cast also features Colleen Esposito as Queen Iduna and Ryan Schnitzer as King Agnarr, along with an ensemble and rotating younger performers as Young and Teen Anna and Elsa. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors 65 and older, and $20 for children under 12, according to the company. Groups of 10 or more receive a $1 discount per ticket. Tickets are sold online through TicketLeap and held at will call for pickup on the day of the performance; the box office opens about 90 minutes before the curtain. An order-by-mail option is also available.
The company is pairing the run with two ticketed events: The Arendelle Winter Party, a family luncheon, is set for Aug. 1 and 2 at 11 a.m., and the Arendelle Winter Tea, a pre-show tea, is scheduled for Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. Both events are ticketed separately.
