Westminster High School Performing Arts will present "Pippin," the Stephen Schwartz musical about a young man's search for meaning and adventure, with performances April 23 and 24 at 7 p.m., and April 25 with matinee and evening shows at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The production features the book by Roger O Hirson with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, one of the most celebrated songwriting teams in musical theater. "Pippin" tells the story of a young man who leaves the safety of his comfortable life to pursue adventure, magic, and purpose in the wider world.

The musical has become a staple of high school theater programs since its 1972 debut, and the Westminster High production marks the school's latest foray into large-scale musical theater.
