Memorial Day weekend is here, and there's plenty to do — even if the sky has other plans. Some local pools open this weekend, but with showers expected all day Saturday and a soggy Sunday in the forecast, we have your rainy-day backup plan covered, too.
On Monday, one of the longest-running Memorial Day parades in the country steps off at 10 a.m. downtown. Rain is less likely in the morning, so that should be a good window.
Plus, we have news about a new Wiffle Ball league from the Westminster Baseball Association (which includes a division for adults!), a student-run theater production today at West Middle School, and a bold five-course pop-up dinner from a veteran area chef.
Let's get into it.
